Valley Community Theatre is looking for musicians and bands in Liverpool!

We here at the Valley Community Theatre are looking for musicians and bands to perform at our music gigs in Liverpool.

Youth category: Young people are invited of secondary school age.

Adult category: Any age from 18+ years.

The aim of the gigs is to raise money for charity, so check out the information below and we look forward to working with you.

About the gigs

open mic nights: on Fridays, 4:30pm-6:30pm for young people of secondary school age, 7-9pm for 18+ years starting from June 2024

Inviting musicians with original material to an open mic session at Valley on the small stage in the foyer. Dry bar for young people’s sessions and a Licensed bar for adult sessions from 7pm onwards with snacks & light refreshments. Our technician will ensure a great sound through the in-house PA with backline being provided in the form of a Boss Katana MK2 guitar amplifier, Trace Elliot bass amp and vocal microphones. This is a great opportunity to try out your new material in a live setting, film your performance and build an audience whilst raising funds for charity so what are you waiting for?!

Bands Festival: Bands with original material (one cover permitted) may now apply to play on our main stage at Valleyfest 2024 in August. Yes you get to play in a real working theatre and it looks amazing so don't miss the opportunity to have your performance filmed. Our great live engineer and stage manager combined with a CODA PA system with 32 channel Yamaha desk and Adlib monitors ensure a sweet sound. Drummers just bring snare and cymbals.
